
Anne Bloom, Esq. is the Chief Operations Officer for ATD Mediation and an “AV” rated attorney. Anne draws on her diverse legal background to get results in effectively concluding lawsuits. She has represented an array of financial institutions, corporations, and individuals, including the FSLIC and the RTC, in the areas of complex commercial, antitrust, probate, employment, governmental, and banking litigation. During her legal career she worked in the litigation departments of Blackwell Walker, Hornsby & Whisenand and Holland and Knight. Anne lived in Israel during the 1990s and served as corporate counsel for an Israeli-based technology company, where she was in charge of international litigation and communications.
Anne has an in-depth understanding of litigation from her own courtroom experiences. She has successfully mediated a treble damages action involving 22 companies. While primarily facilitative and evaluative as a mediator, she is also a trained US Postal Service REDRESS transformative mediator.
Anne graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in organizational and individual behavior in 1979 and earned her law degree in 1982 from the University of Miami School of Law. She serves on the board of the Greater Miami Jewish Community Relations Council. Anne has been a member of the Florida Bar for almost 25 years and a certified Circuit Civil and Family mediator of the Florida Supreme Court since 1998. She is a qualified arbitrator for Miami-Dade and Broward County Circuit Courts, and handles hurricane and related claims as a Windstorm Umpire. Her high energy approach gets to the heart of each dispute and allows each party to be heard and achieve closure.
